Somos Historias is a Jordan and Nike Day of the Dead campaign inspired by the xoloitzcuintli and by those who paved the way before us. Juan Carlos Beltrán was commissioned to build a landscape for Mictlán: a red, rocky and aquatic geography created in real time on set, in dialogue with the photography of @seojups.
The series places the collection among xoloitzcuintli dogs, marigolds, rock and water. The landscape acts as passage and memory rather than background, accompanying figures and objects through a territory suspended between the surface and the underworld.
