Two paths to the same work.
The store and the atelier aren't different products — they're two ways to acquire the same work. The difference is who manages the order and how personalized the result is.
§ Atelier
The store runs through a global lab that scales well. Some pieces don't fit the standard format — they need a size that isn't in the catalog, a frame designed for a particular wall, printing at one of Mexico's top fine-art labs, or the mark of my signature on the margin. The atelier is for that: I manage the order myself, end to end, through Firma Norte, my studio.

§ What's included
Each atelier piece is a conversation. These are the axes we define before producing.
01 · Material
Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm remains the default, but the atelier also unlocks German Etching, Baryta FB, or Canson Platine — papers that require a specific fine-art lab, curated by Firma Norte from Mexico's top operators, with a physical proof before the final edition.
02 · Format
Outside the catalog. Panoramic for a hallway, square for a curated grouping, or architectural scale for a double-height wall. I design the format for the destination space.
03 · Frame
Wood in black, white, natural, or stained. Archival mat, museum glass (anti-reflective, UV-blocking), or no glass for stronger presence. Mounted and ready to hang on arrival.
04 · Provenance
Physical signature in HB pencil on the print margin + edition number on margin and verso. Certificate of Authenticity printed on cotton paper, signed in ink, with optional wax seal.
§ Private commissions
The pieces that leave the atelier live in private collections, curated auctions, and specific spaces. The process is slow on purpose: frame samples chosen piece by piece, color proofs under controlled lighting, technical review with handwritten notes, custom framing. The work arrives ready to hang — no factory aesthetic.
Large piece in studio: commission for the Casa del Maquio benefit auction, Culiacán. Aerial proofs under light box: image for a private collector. Inspection with handwritten notes: technical review before approving the final edition.

§ Process
The atelier is slow by design. Every step is there for a reason.
Tell me which piece you have in mind and where it'll live. A photo of the wall or the space helps — the piece is designed for the place, not the other way around.
Video or in-person in CDMX/Culiacán. We walk through size, paper, frame, and mounting options. If it makes sense, I render a scale visualization of the wall.
Firm quote with price, timeline, and a materials breakdown. No surprises after.
The lab prints a small-scale proof. I review it in person, adjust color or contrast if needed, and sign approval before producing the final edition.
Final edition + frame. I sign the print margin and the Certificate of Authenticity by hand.
In Mexico: white-glove delivery in CDMX, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Culiacán. International: DHL insured shipping with supervised unboxing on arrival.
§ For whom
The atelier isn't for impulse. It's for pieces that will live in a specific place, for a long time.
